About the Competition
Why does our competition focus on Convenience Stores?
People in modern cities now are relying on convenience stores. A lot of convenience stores are 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that you can satisfy your hunger even when your refrigerator is empty. Convenience stores are a "late-night cafeteria" that remains open for you during the night, serving as a "rescue station" where you can find emergency supplies and even a popular spot for checking on social media.
Yes! Convenience stores make our life become more convenient. In addition to selling daily necessities and snacks, convenience stores can evolve into multifunctional places that cater to the local residents’ needs. We hope that by involving young people in the operation of convenience stores, we can help residents in the community solve their problems and enhance their well-being.
How to Participate
- Undergraduate or graduate student who is currently enrolled in public or private universities across the Kingdom of Cambodia.
- University graduates who have graduated within 3 (three) years.
- A team must consist of 3 to 5 team members. We encourage cross-major collaboration. Besides, the members of the team are allowed to originate from different faculties or even universities.
- Download the Competition Rules and Guideline and please read them carefully
- Fill up the competition's Application Form. Please note that every member must sign it.
- Write your business plan proposal by following the Business Plan Writing Guidelines. We encourage you to join our Business Training Course on August 21, 2023 (Join our Telegram Group and follow our Facebook to get detailed information)
- Submit both the hardcopy and softcopy of your business plan proposal before September 4, 2023.

Prizes & Awards
High-Tek will recognize competition-winning teams with cash awards and the opportunity to become our entrepreneurial partner in operating the convenience store. The top 10 teams will be given the opportunity to get interviews with the Company and once passed the interviews will have the privilege to work with us as an intern or co-worker at High-Tek Group, or even become Store Manager of the convenience store. In addition to the above rewards, cash awards
Scoring Criteria
After the deadline for submission, the organizer will invite the review committee to hold a selection meeting. The judging method as well as the evaluation criteria and weights are described below:
